MILESTERS! We’ve listed the top 10 things that you need to watch for Miley Cyrus this 2010!

1. “The Last Song”
   Based off a book written by Nicholas Sparks, The Last Song, comes a  film we’ll all be watching out for! Miley stars as Veronica “Ronnie” Miller, a seventeen year-old teen who is forced to spend the summer with her estranged father played by Greg Kinnear. Aussie actor and Miley’s now-rumored boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth plays Miley’s love interest in the movie. Miley’s second single off the Time of Our Lives EP, “When I Look at You”, is one of the songs featured in the movie’s soundtrack.  The Last Song premieres in the Philippines on May 12, 2010.



2. “Miley Says Goodbye”
   - The much awaited season 3 finale of our favorite TV show, Hannah Montana. In “Miley Says Goodbye”, Miley Stewart is challenged to make one decision that’ll change her life (well, not really). Will she leave her pop-star life in Malibu to return home to her Tennessee roots to be with her favorite horse, Blue Jeans? What will Miley ULTIMATELY decide? The plot is similar to the Hannah Montana movie but this episode will be the bridge to season 4, which will be the basis of Miley’s decision in this episode.

3. Hannah Montana’s 4th and Final Season
   As reported, Hannah Montana will end its series life with its fourth and final season. In the fourth season, producers have proposed a change of setting that will provide the option for additional characters and it will further expand the storyline. Meaning, the fourth season will take place in a different place (Tennesse perhaps? As we said, the season 3 finale will be the basis of season 4). With every new season, there’s a new soundtrack, a new batch of Hannah Montana songs. Production will begin in January 18 and it will end in August. Are you excited for the new change in Hannah Montana’s season 4?
   
4. 3rd Studio Album
   2010 brings more hits from our fave star, Miley Cyrus! It is confirmed that Miley’s third studio album, will be released this year. A demo version of one of the songs, Robot, was leaked on YouTube in late 2009. We sure do can’t wait to hear a new chart-topping hit from Miley!

5. Expansion of the Miley & Max Clothing Line
   I’m sure ya’ll have heard about Miley and Max Azria’s clothing line, right? Well, this year, the clothing line is expected to expand and go global! Well, at least that’s what the rumors say. There are chances that there’ll be more designs coming out this year, as 2009 was almost like a test run to see if the line would sell. With the clothing line’s huge success, we expect more amazing and fashionable outfits from the Miley and Max Azria clothing line. And yes, we’re also hoping and praying that her fashion line would reach Philippine shores too.

   

6. Wonder World Tour DVD
   Missed Miley’s Wonder World concert tour? Well, here’s your chance to catch the action! During a sold-out concert at London’s O2 Arena, Miley announced that the concert was being filmed to be released as a DVD. It is said that the DVD will be released in April or May 2010. We seriously can’t wait for this! From the rave reviews and the revenue at the box office, the concert is sure to be amazing!
   
7. “Sex and the City 2″ Cameo Appearance
   Miley makes a cameo in the Sex and the City 2, the upcoming sequel of the 2008 movie Sex and the City. Miley tells Ryan Seacrest during his KIIS-FM radio show, “It was the best job I’ve ever done.”. Miley plays herself and appears in only one scene. She appears at the film premiere of Smith Jerrod , Samantha’s boyfriend, and is shown wearing the same dress as Samantha, played by Kim Catrall. The movie comes out on May 28, 2010 in the US. A fashion showdown? That’s definitely something to look forward to!
   
8. Liam Hemsworth
   Miley Cyrus is currently connected with her rumored-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Liam is her partner in her upcoming movie (that we’re excited to watch), The Last Song. The two are reported to be off-screen partners when they finished taping the movie. The two are currently spotted together. Will this be the new Niley this 2010? Will Miley fans accept Liam?    Last year, Miley surprised us with 3 Top 10 Hits in the US. “The Climb”, which peaked at no. 4, is the main single of the Hannah Montana movie soundtrack. “He Could be the One”, which peaked at no. 10, is Hannah Montana’s first top 10 hit and lastly, “Party in the U.S.A.,” which peaked at no. 2, is her highest charting effort so far in the Hot 100. Will Miley finally have her no. 1 this 2010?
10. More Awards
    On the recently concluded People’s Choice Awards, Miley won the award for “Breakout Movie Actress” for her role in “Hannah Montana: The Movie.” Is this the start for more awards for her? Last year, Miley won her first MTV Movie Award, “Best song From a Movie – The Climb”. In the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, Miley had won several awards including, “Choice Movie Actress: Music/Dance – Hannah Montana: The Movie”, “Choice Movie Hissy Fit – Hannah Montana: the Movie” and “Choice Music: Single – The Climb”. She also won her first Young Artist Award for her work in “Hannah Montana.” Let’s continue to give Miley recognition, Milesters!:)
